More news. Robert Ramsay is guesting on the track 'When The Air Runs Out' lending his familiar talents with the spoken word to the new album. Many of you will know Robert for his work with fellow proggers, Tinyfish and this track finds him playing 'the voice from the radio'.

Sometimes, it pays to have absolutely nothing to do.  :D  (Actually no, it really doesn't...)

I am feeling very pleased with myself :D

And so you should be!

Cool! "The voice from the radio"...will you be saying; "Not 'arf", "Forth, Tyne, Dogger" and the like?

That would be a sticky situation.

I don't think music can do that. :-\

Some music merely achieves the illusion of it.

Is that not what a 12 inch remix was then...

Title: Re: Cosmograf

That just sounds dirty nowadays. "Hey girls, would you like to spin my 12 inch remix? ...Why are you calling the police?"

It would be truly spooky if the radio was tuned to a numbers station (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station).

The third Cosmograf album, 'The Man Left In Space', will be released on 31st January 2013 - http://www.cosmograf.com/

The guest list is pretty chunky - as well as the aforementioned Mr. Ramsay (making his debut as a musician, on no less a tricky instrument than hammered dulcimer, as well as spoken-word) there are performances from Nick D'Virgilio, Dave Meros (Spock's Beard), Greg Spawton, Simon Rogers (Also Eden), Steve Dunn (now ex-Also Eden), Luke Machin, Dave Ware, and some beardy bloke called Stevens.

That is a pretty impressive guest list to be sure. This is one to look out for then.

If it's all as good as the track I did my bit for, it will be great!

The harmonica on Tearing Up The Room and Why VHS doesn't count, then?

Only heard the first half of it so far, but if the rest is as good as that, then I would concur.

I think it's a big step up from the last one, which itself was better than the one before.

Yet another album with plenty of spoken word.  This does seem to be a bit of a trend right.

We'll have to release it first.

Speaking of which, we need to have a conversation, James...

I've finally given TMLIS a listen via the wonders of Spotify and I must say, it's impressive. I like the last track especially, with that brilliant steamliner siren going off.
