You can make an acoustic album for six hundred quid.

Just saying...

It's very near work, and I love both bands.

Indeed - the live version of Mei on the S&G DVD is very, very good.

It was an interesting programme - Tom Newman was particularly fun.

Assuming we've woken up after a 3.30 am drop off for Huw's trip to Munich that morning Yvette and I are going to get there.

Their label clearly needs to get a grip.
8  Tinyfish Wibble / Other Bands / Re: MANNING: getting closer to the release date.... on: October 05, 2013, 06:56:13 PM
All right then, I'll do it Smiley

Buy this album - it's one of Manning's best.

James (Hendry) - I'll be heading off from East London at around 1.30 pm on Friday, returning on Monday morning. You're very welcome to a lift if you can get to mine in time on Friday, but I appreciate it's a bit of a schlep for you, and in the wrong direction.

I need to drive this time, as I'll be popping in to my in-laws on the Sunday morning to pick up a sewing machine to take home.

Having a random poke around Progstreaming today - really enjoyed this. Do they play live at all?
Yes, apparently, but not frequently. They're based in Hastings, the poor buggers.

The previous album, Truth Button, is also excellent.

The Enchanted Festival is in Essex.  If anyone can think of a less enchanted place than Essex, please add your suggestions here.  I'll start with Sunderland.
Oi, don't diss Sunderland - it's lovely...

Last time I saw them, they did a Floyd cover.  Any guesses as to which song?
They used to do two Floyd pieces - Brain Damage/Eclipse, and a largely jammed version of a part of Echoes. My guess would be the former.

Oh, it'll be worse than that, trust me.
