I had not been there before - my directions took me to the top of the track down between the industrial units, and I drove down and asked a couple of people standing outside if it was the venue because "it looks like a warehouse"  Grin

I don't know how they dare to suggest the official capacity is 200...

And the music between sets was possibly the most inappropriate ever  Huh

It was easy enough for me to get to, and the sound was surprisingly good, so I'd go again if there was a band on who interest me.

I will make sure I speak to them so I can pass on the message from Twang - they would be a great gig at The Peel.

Pure Reason Revolution - Amor Vincit Omnia

They were excellent in Reading last night but the audience was very quiet.  They announced their new album was available at the gig in advance of the release date...silence.  They got to the end of their set and the applause was a mere ripple...so they (quite rightly) did not bother coming back for an encore - talking with the drummer afterwards he said they just did not feel they would have been welcome if they had come back on.  I am going to see them at Dingwalls as well, so I hope it is a more appreciative crowd.  Told them they should play The Peel...

Judging only by the fact that they are still being advertised, Snow Patrol not being able to sell out their 3 dates at the O2  Tongue

U2 - "No Line On The Horizon"

It's not that bad after all but why didn't they chose "Magnificent" as a first single?Huh   Huh

So they can save it up for the 5th single...or maybe save a single edit as an extra on their next singles collection album (release date, when all the fuss has finally settled once more)  Wink

I see they are now having roads in New York renamed in their honour, to herald in the release of their new album.  Sure beats gold, frankenstein and that other stuff  Roll Eyes

Metallica - Master Of Puppets and the Black album, to relive the excellent gig at the O2 last night.

They published one of my reviews recently, so hopefully they will put up the one I will write about you and The Reasoning.  No pressure for a good performance then  Wink

The South Park sketch was a master stroke.  Rather enjoyed the interval music as well !

I listened to Frost* Experiments In Mass Appeal last night.  3 times in a row.  It took me a while to get into it when I first got it, but almost enjoy it too much now (hence the repeat plays).

Working with airlines, I sometimes find some unusually good offers.  Here is one such company, who, at present only don't operate between New Zealand and Australia.  Please, please, please don't use this colour for the next rebranding of the Tinyfish site...

Someone should tell the nice people at Ryanair that is NOT a training video  Wink

If we keep saying it, it will happen.  Or something.

I like them less than I like Snow Patrol.

I hate Snow Patrol.

Having said that, if Tinyfish got the gig with either of them I would be there (until the interval).
