I'm not really having a go at JJ.

I myself voted for him for the Best John Jowitt award  Grin

I know you're not mate.  Smiley I will admit to being a bit ambivalent about Mr Jowitt when I first re-entered the scene back in 2004 as I thought I smelt nepotism in the air but I'm glad to say that I was wrong. I found JJ to be a lovely bloke with a great work ethic (willing to pitch into a project if he can) yet who is his very much his own man.

JJ is splendid - I always love to see people enjoying their time on stage. It always enhances my enjoyment of a gig and JJ always visibl7y enjoys his time on stage, be it formerly with IQ, with arK or with Paul Menel or probably U2, Eminem and Girls Aloud by now.

That's why I enjoy Tinyfish gigs. There is really never any doubt how much fun you guys are having. (even when things are going wrong)

A long time ago, I joked that it was only a matter of time, and Paul gave me A Hard Stare.

I'm not having a go at JJ either.  But, in the same way it was good for Christina Booth not to win an award, I think it would be good for someone else to win it.  Just once.  Maybe.

Yeah, why is it like that, Mouse ?  I can't wait for RoSfest and the chance to have a drink with Matt Cohen.

Would that drink be Hemlock?

Actually - you'd better not - you're bringing my Phideaux Vinyl home with you!  Grin

I have no problem with Mostly Autumn - their music is good.  I have no problem that they won a heap of awards.  I predict they'll win nothing next year.  Indeed, this is my prediction right now:

Band - Pendragon.
CRS Gig - Pendragon.
Album - Passion.
Guitar - Nick Barrett.
Keys - Clive Nolan.
Bass - John Jowitt.
Drums - Scott Higham.
Male Vocals - Pete Nicholls.
Female Vocals - Christina Booth.
Best Track - This Green & Pleasant Land (from Passion).
Best New Band - Pendragon.

Just stumbled across this - was he right, folks?
