This has gone into new territory - you might say it had crossed a threshold.

I hope everybody at the Peel enjoys Maiden United - Mr Wilson was really on form last weekend. I'm just heading North for the Credo show - actually I'm going to a meeting in Yorkshire, but the CRS luckily have a gig on the same weekend so it would be a shame to ignore it.

I expect I'll see you there, then, Trace.
I'll be one of the few women in the room.

I going to Maiden United - I have no idea because I don't know any Iron Maiden (and I'd guess that I wouldn't like it). Anyone else?

I would have liked to have gone but I did not bother checking my diary when I said I would have the kids from Thursday until Sunday

For those going to Credo in a fortnight's time, I think you'll enjoy it. They were excellent last night at Maltby. The new material sounded good, although big fellow up front (i don't know his name and I don't have an album to hand to check) seemed a bit uncertain of the lyrics on one new tune. Alan Reed was support, and I almost missed him after getting back late from my meeting about 60 miles away. I only saw 2 songs, which were pretty good, even if it was just himself on acoustic guiitar plus a mate on bass / keyboards (and the Pendragon drummer in a box). He seemed visibly relieved to get the gig done successfully, and encored with everybody's favourite (!) Peter Gabriel song 'Biko'. The Wesley Centre is an really nice little venue, so the gig made my trip north worthwhile.

Sounds great - and if Alan keeps on with Biko maybe he can help to sort the South African problem...in much the same way as Wilf's crusade to sort the Italian language problem
