The builders came in yesterday and gutted the middle bar. They are now plastering like Demons and things are being built. It's all happening!! And it's going to look stunning. Grin

make sure someone plasters the unlike Demons, too.

It won't be The Reasoning or Haken, because they have played there before.

Is it Mostly Autumn ?

I don't know if any knows, but Mostly Autumn did quite well at the recent BOTY awards.

How about Anathema? I hear they're popular and everyone likes their latest release.

I'll be seeing them at High Voltage. Well at least - they will be playing at High Voltage and I will be at High Voltage.

Hmm...the more I think about taking a more relaxed approach to High Voltage this time around...and the longer my diet goes on...the more I think about experiencing most bands on the basis of what I can hear from the various pie stalls that will be there. Smiley

Real pie stalls - I might have to consider attending.
The last proper pie stall I saw was at Shrewsbury Folk Festival a couple of years ago. Most of the music was too folky (funnily enough) but the pies were superb.

Well I'm not sure if these count as "real" pies but, since I was starving and in the mood for a bit of dietry misbehaviour I can honestly say that the pie, chips and gravy I had there was certainly scrummy.

The same can also be said for the hot pork roll and the huge "real sausage" hot dog I had.  Smiley
