I've just remembered that I told Johnny Mitchell that I wasn't coming to Summers End because hated Arena the other day.

With a bit of luck he will have told Clive before the She gig.

Arena - it's difficult to imagine that they can ever fit a gig in - I mean with all the bands that JM, CN & JJ are in, surely it must be just about zero chance of them all being available at the same time.

They're making an album, and everything.

Yes - and doing a European Tour - a mad one 4th-19th November - playing every night.  There is one night at the Teatr Slaski in Katowice - so we all know what that means...

In the UK it's Summer's End and 27th November in Leamington Spa.

Well I shan't be seeing them. Mme Cholet and I are off for a romantic dinner after the afternoon session on Saturday then straight back to Whitemead for a bottle of fizzy wine (as she's driving and cant have any for dinner) and Match of the Day.

No, for most chaps Match of the Day seems to be the perfect way of rounding off a Saturday evening.

Unless it's a euphemism, of course.  Wink
