I like what Julian Cope said about Travelodges. When he talks sense, he talks a lot of it...

Travelodge isn't full...

Still an ouchy 81 for the night and their website is crap. It's decided I'm a "Mr" and won't let me change it. It's also decided I couldn't possibly live in Kent and won't let me click the drop down box.

Based on previous information, I have to conclude that all travelodges are run by Marillion.

I expect, if we absolutely have to go to this proggy nonsense, that we will be doing our customary 150 mile round trips each day. I don't think I like prog anymore.

I'll try to do the Tinyfish day in July. I'm pretty sure that something else is occurring that weekend.
Just checked, Linton Festival is the following weekend.

There's also Hotel Bosco in Surbiton (where we live) which is plenty close enough, is very nice, and is usually about 90 a night.

Sadly our spare room is spoken for but if anyone fancies the sofa bed...?

And it's not at The Peel. It's at this place:

...which is located at the upper red circle in this map...

...and the lower red circle is the entrance to the very adjacent car park...

...which, while more expensive than the on-street parking at The Peel (free after 18:30, is it?) this is likely to be a tad more secure!
