]Well it really seems to matter to some artistes(!)...but I agree the running order is not that important. I'll be happy as long as the amount of time given to everyone is what they are happy with.  Smiley

yes that's the point, I want a lot of da fishies

Awwww! Thanks Ash!

How we respond will depend on whether they'll let under-18s in...

I'm thinking about who could be the missing band on Saturday.  I hope it's Panic Room.

Now, that would be good! But then I think they'd fit in better with the Sunday lot, and Magenta on the Saturday. And then oh I don't know because my brain has just tried to turn itself inside out.

I am really looking forward to this!

You can only imagine what it takes to organise a fest like this. The stories I can tell you (later) you just wouldn't believe.

I have become an expert on having the urine extracted out of me just to get a later time for the Saturday. The bands and line ups have been carefully worked out and I have to take into account many, many things. The security alone is a  massive expense but required by law.

Bloody scary I can tell you. This'll even make me or, break me.

The venue was chosen because it looks & feels amazing, the facilities are incredible. Full wheelchair access lifts for them disabled toilets on each level if needed. Toilets are clean and look nice. The venue is central with easy reach of all good food retailers.

Yes there are a few compromises I have to make but it's the same all round for venues of this size. It does not compromise the artists or the audience, which is what I care about most of all.

House of Progression's intent is to grow, I will be looking into taking certain shows to Central London.

There are however, certain terms I will NOT back down on. 1st of many is I will NOT!!!!!!! Work with any venue who takes a percentage of Merch sales. If they want that I want the artists to take a percentage of the venue's bar take.

If they say no then I take the show somewhere else.

Progressive Rock is for the most important people on the planet the general public!! The artists & the people must NOT  get ripped by bigger companies jumping on a popular bandwagoon!!

I feel very, very passionate about this. The festival is a Celebration but at the same time it sends out a  message.

I'm putting these shows on regardless. I will get the best possible deal for the artists & audience.

On another note entirely. Flying Colours album is so, so, so , so GOOD!!!!

Note 2 The Peel Aristocrats & Godsticks show is nearly sold out!!! YAY! So do get tickets if you want to go. Grin

I'm also working on an April show which hopefully will work out. Grin
