Covers band playing to backing tapes.  Best avoided.

Knifeworld + The Fierce And The Dead is a cracking line up. Two days after my birthday as well. I might postpone celebrations and head on down for that one.  Wink

Hmm that's the same day as the Wolf Conservation Centre's open day. So... do I try to get home and change first or go straight to the Peel smelling of country air and wet dogs...  Roll Eyes

Eeeee! Will have to sort that one out next - hope it doesn't clash with any of the Hawkwind gigs my mate is sorting out tickets for  Undecided

And I think turning up to a gig smelling of wet dog is fine - just pretend it's a hippy festival!  Grin

Oh frick - May is already really tricky - I might have to miss the Menel gig - does anyone know if he is playing anywhere out west (even Swindon would do).

Leamington Spa gig with Pendragon sounds like it's the closest announced so far. Think there are supposed to be more gigs later in the year though.

You're getting desperate to be thinking of gigs in Swindon.

Swindon gets a decent set of gigs - it's far better than Reading, for example.

Very true, but you're that little bit closer to London, which has always seemed to stop bands putting on gigs in Reading.
