Debbie has a concert in Westminster that I will be going to, so I will have to miss this.  Which is a shame, because I love the latest album and was looking forward to the gig.

And what a fine choice of university, if I may say so myself. Cheesy

Hope she'll be very happy there- I know I was!

It was a good evening. Alan Reed was in excellent form and played a blinder. Oddly enough it was the first time I've heard Sanctuary since I saw Pallas perform it at the Hammy Odeon in the 80s. His performance at the Peel and the material from his new album prove that he is a genuinely talented git. Top marks to a guy who has something special to offer any audience he encounters.

I just wish the soundman had been up to the highly complex task of being able to mix two vocals, a guitar and a keyboard.  Roll Eyes

Galahad hold a real place in my heart. They may not be the most celebrated prog band in the world considering they are one of the few bands that have held it together and produced albums over the years through thick and thin but they really give it everything when they perform. I always try to check them out when they play in my neck of the woods. I have such a lot of time for the guys in the band and it was a set which I thoroughly enjoyed.
