Any details yet for Matt Fest day 2?
I've seen the reformed Grey Lady Down announce themselves as playing, and that really interests me.

I asked Twang on Saturday and he said that it probably wouldn't happen.

Assuming Twang meant Day 2 probably wouldn't happen, it's a pity about seeing Grey Lady Down, but good that i won't have to make a choice of which day to go.

I did hear a rumour that you were in the audience for IQ on Saturday, and I even had a look for you, but I didn't see you.

Hi everyone,

I know I've been a bit quiet for a while. That is simply because I've been very busy. As you know we're rebranding the venue. Work has progressed on the outside well and now it's time to sort out the inside. It begins next week. This requires builders which will be fun. Talking of fun after they've done that, the real fun begins. There will be comfortable seating which will be lit, there will be art on the wall and ceiling which will be hand painted by an artists who has not only featured in Vogue Milan magazine but his work shifts for stupid amounts in Paris, New York & Milan.
There will be 2 to 3 major works from the entrance to the middle bar. Gone will be the pool table & game machines and in goes a DJ booth. On certain nights (not Prog) the venue will have various bands and the mid bar will have a DJ spinning similar music which enables us to have Rock, Indie, Pop Rock and cool yoof stuff whilst they do the live thang next door. The idea is to get people in other than gig goers. The Prog gigs will be Prog gigs lol.

I'm sorting out shows at the moment which is taking up a huge amount of time. Download & Sonisphere Fest warm ups are on the cards so if everything gets sorted we'll get massive bands warming up. I'm also working on a possible Teenage Cancer Trust show and that will mean someone HUGE. I'm keeping all my fingers crossed on that one.

It's going to take the Peel to the next level. Saturday is MAIDEN UNITED so hopefully see some of you here then.
