I could tell you some stories about Larry Miller and the payment of support bands...

((they sit at the feet of Wilf, the Grand Wizard to hear his tales of historical gigs in far away musical lands, looking up with a mxture of awe, wonder and excitement...))  Cheesy Cheesy

Hey Twang thanks for booking Nico  Grin Hope you're gonna love them! Will have to come along and support them but I'm working that day grrrr - what time slot did you think for them?

Would really appreciate anyone else available coming along to listen to some good old rock music, they're a great bunch of guys  Wink

Well 11th August both PIG IRON & NICO'S ALCHEMY do a warm up for Bull Dog & Bloodstock Fests.

Pig Iron are doing an acoustic set then a full electric. So, I'm guessing Nico will be on about 8ish. Only 6 quid on the door. Pure Classic Rock.

8pm is perfect  Grin

the vid on your page is the previous singer, they have Geoff now who has a great voice and a great attitude, he's a bit more down to earth and he makes them a lot heavier than with Candido.

I suspect Mr. Badger commands a member of the Wilf household to do the washing up for him, lest he tear out their throats.

Mr. B. doesn't realty understand washing up. None of his food ever had contact with a plate or cutlery - he generally gets it 'on the hoof', so to speak.

It's just as well - getting Huw to wash up is bad enough...

Excellent - looking forward to seeing Solstice again, and a good warm up to a brilliant Saturday lineup.

I still haven't seen the 'new' Solstice, and what with this one being on a Friday and all I won't be at this one.
