To all those that have responded and said yes (at least in theory) to the notion of writing a blog entry let me say two things:

1. Each person (I feel sure) has the native wit and charm to pull off a unique and personal take. It may be to comment upon the band, The Fishtank community, the prog world at large or even all three and more but knowing you (if only a little) as I do, I believe we'll get lots of different viewpoints. It should be huge fun to read I think for both participators and lurkers alike.

2. You are all as mad as a coat rack of pelicans.  Grin

A Leeetle late to this, and I don't have the time to scroll back and read everything at the mo... but... as an ex blogger, and someone who likes to write stuff now and again, I'm up for this, if there is still room... I posted an example from my old blog on this forum a while ago... if you can cope with stuff like this, then I'm game.

I like to think I string can worms together too (the sequel) so if someone can be a bit more specific about what is being asked for, I'm game too. Smiley

Brom - I think your previous work is fab. If you can write something like that concerning something Tinyfish related, I think we'd all be very pleased indeed.

Pedro asks a good question about exactly what people might wish to write about. There is much I can write about as a member of Tinyfish about Tinyfish and related things but the one thing none of us in the band can do is to write from your perspective. We're not fishing for compliments nor trying to get others to blow smoke up our arses. I just think it would be interesting to see something from form the POV of you poor bastards that have to endure our endless songs about shorts and the end of the world..

It could be about the music the band makes and how you relate to it, it might be the Fishtank community and how that has grown to be almost independent of the band that spawned it, you could even throw the net wider and comment upon how Tinyfish fits into the prog scene in general and how that scene looks and feels today. It's up to you how little or how much us Fishes figure in your words, I mean you've seen how I can wander off on topic safari in my blogs Smiley

One thing that springs immediately to mind is The Peel and the CRS. Both have been huge influences on the UK scene. You might wish to talk about the US or European festival scene and how they are gradually taking over from single event shows in many ways as the focus of a prog fan's interest.

The choice is yours. Just submit your bl0g to either Robert or myself first so we can check it for discarded pairs of big red shorts.
