Is that duck using the other duck as a kind of prostitute David?
Exactly so, Sir Grin

That bloody show haunts me more than Quorn curry. Huw loved it, Yvette and I wanted to scream every time it came on.

"Give yourself a shiny!"

Bastards.

Er... give yourself a shiny what?

I don't recognise that show at all - my boys and I neatly managed to avoid that one. However, I come out in a cold sweat every time I hear the Thomas the Tank Engine theme tune.

"Give yourself a shiny!"
That is going to be the tagline for the album, isn't it...

Did they know the names and numbers of all the engines? Did you have to learn them too?

Ah, the scars...

Ah, the scars...

Actually, I found that we had unwittingly used the Thomas the Tank Engine naming convention for the middle names of our sons.

Thomas - Engine #1 - middle name of my older son
Edward - Engine #2 - middle name of my younger son

Fortunately I didn't have any more than 2, or daughters, otherwise I think child #6 would have disowned me...

Henry - Engine #3
Gordon - Engine #4
James - Engine #5
Percy - Engine #6

Toby - engine #7
Duck (Montague) - engine #8
Donald - engine #9
Douglas - engine #10
Oliver - engine #11

...ah, it burns us...

I quite liked that show as I could get the questions right.  I got LOTS of shinys  Grin

Actually it was never on much as S was too old and K found it too easy even at the age of 1 and 2.  I don't miss cbeebies at all.

More work on Shineback today. It really is good to be able to throw caution to the wind with some of of the material and the recording techniques without risking the new Tinyfish material in the process.

It really is my hope that this project will get me back to my fighting weight from a songwriting and engineering point of view. It's amazing how much you forget in such a short space of time.
