When you lot started going on about this limited edition CD and how it was all sold out within minutes, I thought "Oh well, that's OK I missed out".
Completely forgot actually ordering the thing, glad I did but worried about my marbles, and no, I don't mean the Marillion album.

It's not sold out yet. They start taking orders again on the 1st March and there'll be a few copies held back for the tour. Although it's something I'd certainly like to own, I don't think I'll bother trying to pick one up. There are other albums I'd rather spend my money on.

I listened to it the other night. It's pretty good. Swerves oddly from heavy to jazzy in a few places, but that's just SW. Most enjoyable.

I used to have a bigger sig but Robert kept moaning about it so I have been reduced to this now.

I was surprised by how much it sounded like Jazz, is Grace For Drowning like that? I don't have it yet

Yeah, GFD is like a cross between jazz and King Crimson, with a dash of Depeche Mode thrown in here and there.
Anyway, this live album is now back on sale as of 30 mins ago- I'd rush to buy if you want one still! Just got mine.

Oh, except for...
"A limited number of sealed copies will be on sale on the forthcoming tour every night."

Is it me or does Seal look more and more like a leader of a West African nation?

I don't feel the need for a Steven Wilson live album. I love Grace For Drowning, but it's not on "heavy rotation" as it is one to sit down with on surround and absorb - I can't give it a casual listen. Thus a live album without the surround is unlikely to add anything I need in my music collection.
I would like to have seen the live show, but as it was at SBE, I didn't.
