I'm prepared to accept that a fruit-based sauce may accompany some meals, but actual fruit in dinner is against nature.

Pork and apple sauce?

Turkey and cranberry sauce?

Chicken in lemon sauce?

70s-style curry with chopped apple and sultanas?

All horrid IMHO. I dislike any kind of fruit with meat.

As a child I used to love a pineapple ring on top of gammon, it was a treat but as I have grown older I have really developed a dislike for warm pineapple, if I have sweet n sour chicken I pick the bits of pineapple out.  I dislike fruit in all savoury dishes now.

Did you know Tinyfish are supporting It Bites and DeeExpus?

Hmmm...that's an interesting question.

I'd say that It Bites would go for something classic, but with a modern twist, such as a double pepperoni with anchovies.

DeeExpus would be after a kebab - cooking pizza takes up valuable drinking time.
