I keep seeing the name Freefall being mentioned both here and occasionally on the Frosties* forum. Is this another band that you all used to be in?  Huh

This was the First band we were all in, Jim, Simon, Myself and Jem, plus a lead singer called Andy Lovatt. We played some prog stuff in the late 80's to the beginning of the 90's, then it all went pear shaped.

Are you planning to release any photos or music by Freefall here? It would be really interesting to hear what you all sounded like back then.

No plans to release any material right now. To be honest, most of the songs we produced back then were (certainly to my ears now) a bit dire. That said, I still look back at the gigs we did with a lot of fondness. We got to support IQ, Jadis, Geoff Mann and Galahad as well as meeting people like Johnny Boyes who joined us for a while and then went onto play guitar on Milliontown.

As for photos, I ask this with all honesty. Are you absolutely sure you want to see five twentysomethings dressed in mock flight suits and sporting a variety of dodgy mullets? Undecided

I don't specifically remember it, but I am sure I must have seen you back then.

That's not necessarily as damning as it sounds, because I used to drink enough to forget a lot about many gigs  Grin

Jim's hair really never fails to amaze me. There was a lot of 'Noooooooo...that's never *you*!' the first time I saw a picture of 'it'...

Yeah, yeah, yeah!  Cheesy

I still chuckle at picture 2 where Jem looks like he's craftily cracking one off!  Shocked
