You'd be happier if they put on rubbish bands?

Then we could be righteously indignant and refuse to go because of the shambles this year. Now we have to shut up and go  Grin

I suppose so.  I'm not sure about going as it is a long way.

Clearly the way the (non) paying public was treated last year means nothing to the bands.

Just because the fans were given the cold shoulder last year doesn't mean it will be like that this year as well.

I'm not sure there's much they could do to make it worse than the last one!

But I'm sure that they'll be trying.

So there's no chance, none whatsoever, that it might actually be good? A thin, sliver of a chance? Maybe worth considering? No?

Of course it could be good.

The last one could have been good...but had a lot wrong with it...and the same stuff that was wrong on the Saturday was still wrong on the Sunday.

So the evidence suggests that no-one actually gave a stuff about the punters...or the bands, it seems...but I can only go on what band members and people who were in the crowd on both days told me.

I hope that the organisers learned from the last one and will take steps to ensure this one will be much better.
Little things like not having stupid stage arrangements and perhaps letting people know in advance that there is a whole other festival going on simultaneously.

I didn't go, but everyone who did go gave me the same sort of feedback.

It is possible that I'll go to this one.  I'd need to be convinced, and what I've seen of the lineup so far is a long way from justifing a 5+ hour to North West Wales.

If they play by the same rules as everyone else then I will consider it, but signing up every band under the sun and giving away all the tickets is not fair on the other Prog festivals in the UK.

I nearly tried to retweet that just now.
