I'm doing another fundraiser for Alchemy on Friday 30 March.

So far confirmed it will be Clive, Agnieszka and John Mitchell.

Let me know if you're interested.  It should make a good eve of Celbr8 event.

Thanks everyone.  If I get 20 people I'll be very happy.  I'm at 6 so far.

Transport and accommodation already sorted for London, but it sounds like fun - shame I can't make it.

Oh yes - 7:30 start.  I'm going to cook some quiche and get some crisps and nibbles.

We should talk about Wednesday as well.

It was very good fun - not many people - but good fun.  They arrived at 3:30.  Apparently Clive is nervous about arriving later so being there for 4 hours to set up is reasonable.  It's just as well as someone forgot the keyboard stand and Sian was dispatched to collect it.  In the meantime, John, Paul, Agnieszka & I piled into my Panda to find socks and sandwiches at Tesco.

Then, John arranged for a friend from a pub in Wargrave to bring over two massive speakers which took up space where 6 people could have sat, not that there were so many people.

John also mentioned that Kim would probably be coming along later.  It wasn't until I opened the door that I found out that it was Kim Seviour.

What with people from Sweden, France, and our own friendly Viking Bo, it had the feeling of a rather exotic evening.  We even had someone from Bracknell.
