Yeah, good gig, if lacking in any sort of subtlety & finesse on my part.  The onstage sound wasn't great, but pity poor old Focus - they had a torrid time up there.

In other news, I have swine flu.  Anyone who shook my hand/kissed me over the weekend should beware...

Oh, God - I must have swine flu.

I missed Focus, as I was dashing cross-country, yet again...managed it, though.  So over the weekend I saw

Friday - Jump
Saturday - Emerald Sky, Mother Black Cap, Crimes Of Passion, Kilminster & Hockridge, Tinyfish, Pendragon and Fish
Sunday - Sacred Heart, Jeavestone, Morph, Breathing Space, Touchstone, The Reasoning (1 song) and Fish

and vaguely listened to Phoenix and Airrace

and managed 430 miles.

I think it was worth it.  But next time I go to a Festival I want all that backstage access stuff so I can get setlists without having to go through hoops  Roll Eyes

I thought the set was excellent and certainly kept the crowd entertained on a number of levels - I would have thought you should have sold stuff to a lot of new faces on the basis of that performance.  Sounded fine to me, and I shall reflect these good words in many more (many, many more) good words in the review (which I am having written up by a 14 year old).

Thanks, Leon... is that why you were sweating like a pig? How long is the incubation period?

Hope you feel much better soon - and I shall be more careful who I kiss next time!

You too can see Leon's belly-button piercing. For just 9.99 you will receive a glossy semi-naked picture of Leon.

No-one can tell you that you need to get out more sir.  Cheesy It was good to see so many familiar faces in the crowd and to meet so many new faces too.

Not bad, but it needs the wafting clouds behind him.

Brilliant pic, UB! I've yet to wade through all the photos and videos, but I can't wait to do so. I'll attempt at some point tonight, hopefully. So glad that the gig went so well. No doubt I would have brought torrential rain with me if I'd managed to turn up...  Wink
