Highlights:

IQ won a lot.

I saw most of the first song and was surprised to find that they've learned to play together. It sounded like an actual song, and I even realised it was called "Falling Down" as I could hear many of the lyrics.

It wasn't a very exciting or unusual song, but, hey, baby steps.

I don't tend to mention these things, but I actually came away from the evening with an award.

Last night, I drove it over to Clibve Nolan's house where he told me that he couldn't be in Wath-The-Feck personally as he was at a concert in Poland.  Queen.

He also played me the first two songs of the new Arena album.  The first one a reasonable typical Arena anthem.  The second one is a slower more emotion song with a terrfic guitar solo from JM.  Clive said that he's more excited about this Arena album than any one since The Visitor.
