Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah! Those lovely French boys are returning in the Autumn for a small string of gigs in towns they missed last time.
It's possible that there might be a secret gig in London  Wink Wink

Sorry said  on facebook I'd come to the Liverpool gig but have now realised I'm in London on that Sunday so doesn't look like I'll be able to get to any of these gigs Sad

I shall go to Farncombe.  I used to work near there - you can get there by train on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.  Trains back on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday.

Leamington Spa - possible. I must check my holidays to see if I can take a recovery day and actually stay until the end this time.

Lazuli were the band of the weekend for me.  You know, I just completely lost track of who was playing and went with the flow.

Frequency Drift - probably not quite as good as at Summer's End, but wonderful nethertheless.  It amazes me how they keep everything separate as to not create a sound mush.

Lazuli - stunning as always.

The Enid - not really my cup of tea but even I was pulled through by the music.

IO Earth - oh dear.  After taken an age to sound check, the sound was appaling.  I've been to the Boerderij enough times to know that their sound guys know what they are doing.

From all reports, Lazuli made a lot of new friends and the weekend. They deserve it! :-)

The Enid were OK - I don't like the singer's style, but it's the longest I've managed to stay in the room with them.

Lazuli were better though.

I see that they've canceled the Leamington Spa gig.
I'm still seeing them the night before in London so it's not a huge loss, in fact the worst part will be fighting the new HR leave booking system to change my days off.
