Rather brief announcement via email to the mailing list :-

Well, Galahad seems to go through bass players more often than Jordan does male
partners, and sadly there's been another change announced to the lineup. Here's
a release from Galahad Central:
####
Dear all,
We would like to inform you that with immediate effect Lee Abraham is no longer
the Bass Guitarist in Galahad.
We would like to wish Lee all the best with his future projects.
More news regarding a permanent replacement in due course.
Regards
GALAHAD

It'll be interesting to see/hear what Lee does next. His solo CD, Black & White, featuring Jem and Simon Godfrey and John Mitchell amongst others is well worth getting.

Curious to know who Galahad will get in too.

I wish them all well.  Smiley

Galahad are on the bill for the one day Prog festival at the Peel on 29 August, so I'm sure that someone will be in place soon.

Eeeek!

Well that's news and a half. I wish them both well and will now phone Lee immediately to get the gossip. Wink

I'm off down to Southampton ostensibly to buy a microphone but this task can be perverted into a social drinkie with our Mr A during the afternoon as he lives down that way. Apparently Black And White (Lee's tribute to the late, great MJ  Wink), is selling rather well.

And so it bloody should.

I spoke to Lee today over a pint or two in Southampton and although he's sad to be moving on (he really enjoyed his time with the Galahad boys), he's very much looking to the future. As it stands, the success of his new solo album means that he's has more than a few avenues of opportunity open to him. I don't wish to jump the gun or spill any bean shaped objects but he's talking to a number of people right now about what comes next and is going to be anything but idle over the next 12 months.

I can't wait.  Smiley
