What made me smile? Searching for Tinyfish on MySpace and having a Tampax Pearl ad displayed. I'm still not quite sure of the connection!

Leafing through the August edition of Classic Rock in a bookstore in Oakville, Ontario to find on page 81 a picture of 4 blokes and an album review.
On showing the magazine front cover and then the picture within to the kids they wanted to know why Jim was in that magazine?
My mate in Classic Rock - awesome!!!!!

There's a whole world of comparison but I'm sure none of it needs to be said in these pages...

Finding a Norwegian movie in the DVD isle at my local Tesco. And what kind of movie from my homeland would be important enough to be distributed over here I hear you ask. It is basically you run of the mill tourist propaganda for Norway. Snow, fjords, mountains and beautiful twenty-something blondes. And Nazi-zombies.

I got home to a huge package. And once I had got over the whole Carry On angle...it is the limited edition box set of The Incident by Porcupine Tree. I may be gone some time

I just got the "standard" 2-CD version. Not bad, on first listen. There's been a LOT of grumbling about it on the PT mailing list though - several fans seem to be finding it a bit of a challenge.
The production is beautiful, and it has more of a sense of a confident swagger about it, particularly in some of the guitar work, that I have not seen in previous albums.
But the thing about it that *really* made me smile was the sleeve notes:
"SW uses PRS guitars, Babicz acoustic guitars, Bad Cat amps, Ernie Ball strings and Jaffa Cakes".
good man!

So did I, but mine was the lovely special edition of the new Muse album. Didn't have a chance to hear it last night, but I'm going to put it on when I get home tonight. LOUD

Mouse has done a great picture of the fishtank Thankee you. Here's the drawing of a Fishtank I did on the back of the Mr. Prog T-shirt, which I think only Nellie and Simon got to see at the gig. There's also... ...and... I've even got "But that's nearly Wales!" on there somewhere.
