I've got a day off work tomorrow (for my cousin's wedding) and then I'm off to The Peel on Saturday! Hurrah!
Have fun!

It Bites tonight, hurrah! I'm taking my son along, his first gig where he won't be sitting down.

There are a lot of proggy gigs at the moment.  I'm off to see Darwin's Radio & Jump later.  I hope that everyone has a great time.

It Bites were absolutely blinding! Nothing very unexpected, but delivered with amazing vim and vigour particularly from Mr. Mitchell. Last time I saw them was just after they released Big Lad... and I thought they were damn good then, but I think last night topped it.

My son enjoyed it so much - his first proper standing-up gig. Here's to many more...looks like the whole family for IQ in December Smiley

Furniture, I guess, and the E and one S have failed or fallen down.

I did not take a look, but Al from Touchstone did, and assures me is sells furniture.  There were clear markings where the E and the s had been...although I wonder if they were ever there, or if it was simply painted to make it look like two letters had been taken down by those cheeky Sarfend youngsters - I am sure the place is famous in those parts because of its 'name'.
