Everyone should have a bunker within driving distance. You never know when the Reds will attack.

You mean Liverpool FC now has a nuclear capability.

That explains why their other defences are so bad this season.

Something that made me cry with laughter last night: my husband decided that he would try my Wii Fit Plus as I've been giving him regular updates on my "Wii Fit Age" - which was 25 yesterday.  Cool

So, he turned it on, followed the directions on screen, and got the "standing still" test, in which you, surprisingly enough, have to stand still. Not too hard, you might think. So, he started off standing still, watching the box on the screen and trying to keep his centre of gravity within the blue dot in the box. After the first 10 seconds or so, the box in the middle of the screen suddenly started moving around the screen, so Julian took this as a signal that he should be moving around as well, despite having been told to "stand still".

How I laughed when he came into the kitchen and told me that his Wii Fit age was 72.  Grin

Tee hee.

There is little funnieer than watching someone else doing Wii Fit hula hoop.

I'm a happy bunny because I got the new silver, orange and 50th anniversary badges for my collection of Blue Peter badges on Ebay.

Still need the old silver, new purple, 45th anniversary and of course the Gold badge (but that goes for about 300 when it comes up and I can't possibly justify that at the moment - one day perhaps)

I'm smiling because we've decided to go out today, despite the uninviting weather - to this place:

http://www.secretnuclearbunker.com

My joy at this prospect is as much to do with getting out of the house for a few hours than it is with the place itself - though it does look interesting. Huw heard about it from some of his schoolfriends who had a grand day out, it seems. They've got those little guided-tour-in-an-mp3-player doobries that you listen to as you walk around.

A pub lunch may also be on the cards Cheesy

How can it be called secret when everyone knows about it?

There is no bunker. It's a myth.

Very smiley since I got an email from the DLBN site administrator saying that I'm averaging over 1000 - yes, that's a thousand, I had to read it twice - downloads for the European Perspective every week.

I had no idea it was that many, I thought I'd be doing well if I got fifty.

They're out there!
