I drove all the way home without switching my lights on for the first time this year.  Winter's End (as it were) at last.

In Scandinavia it is mandatory to have your lights on all the time. It has drastically reduced the number of accidents since it was introduced.

I think it would be a good idea to implement it over here.

Someone told me there was some sun out today.

There was much Frost* early followed by lots of blue sky and indeed that rarely seen Sun, tonight we have a very big moon which I'm just about to go out and photograph once I've warmed up after coming home from photographing a gig

The first result if you search for the word "officially" on google is an article entitled:

"What Tolkien Officially Said About Elf Sex"

This made me smile as well.

BTW I am sick at the moment so my humour may be off.

I'm going to put 'Nick Nolte' as one of my objectives for the coming year at work.

That looks fab but probably not the hardest cube you own, not that Darth Maul isn't hard - I wouldn't want to go up against him with a broomstick...

...matron.

Did you know that Darth Maul was voiced by Peter Serafinowicz, who co-created Look Around You and has appeared in Spaced and Shaun Of The Dead? When he went to record the voice, the only thing George Lucas said to him was if he could do the voice "more evil".

I'll never look at Star Wars EP 1 in quite the same way again.
