I will be going to Toronto in July to see Iron Maiden and Dream Theater and will be doing some photoshoots while I'm out there Behind the camera, right? Oh yes I will be behind the camera the ones in front of it will be far easier on the eye than I

It's sunny. I like that. And I took a lunch break yesterday and felt much better for doing so. I think I'll have another one today

An unfortunate Jack Vance book made me smile.

I liked the comment the reviewer made - "Arguably one of the best 'Space Operas' ever written, even if the name does somewhat baffle. "

...and from Wikipedia...
"The editors of the Vance Integral Edition restored the author's preferred title for the first book: The Chasch. They also altered the second to The Wannek and replaced 'Wankh' with 'Wannek' throughout the text. Vance was convinced to change the name after being informed of the meaning of the word 'wank' in British and Commonwealth slang."

Thank goodness for that explanation. For some reason, I can't view products on Amazon. I can get the home page and a list of stuff, but if I click on any individual one, it just sits there doing nothing and won't load. I've tried it in IE as well as Firefox and it's the same story. It's really getting to me as I want to buy a Genesis remaster box.

Right, I've done it. Amazon still no worky for me. I can view everything normally, except product pages. Weird. I might have to drop them an Email. ...And this really nice weather we've been having recently makes me smile.

This made me smile: Dear all,
Sorry about the continued absence of the Frost* forum. This is due to the current hosting company dragging their heels in helping us transfer our world to a new hosting provider after their heavy handed tactics in helping us deal with a virus the site became infected with. They have been, in short, a total pain in the **** in helping us sort it out so I decided we should take our business elsewhere. Suffice to say, they've not been very helpful in assisting our departure either.
Rest assured though that we're working on getting it back up and running asap. Sorry for the continued disruption. More news as we get it.
All the best, Jem
PS. Sorry also to all those who were awaiting a confirmation email about account activation to the forum. Some people have been waiting over a year!!!! This was due to an incorrect email forwarding address set in the system. Most likely by me when drunk, or sober, or on fire. You should all be receiving them very shortly, if not already. I totally appreciate if you've long since moved on from Frost* in that time. Sorry for bothering you if you have.
If it's any consolation, I've also moved on from Frost*. I'm a Greengrocer now...
