Today I found a local farm selling free range eggs which I am happy to purchase until I acquire my very own chickens in the not too distant future.
Now that is so cool. I'd love to have my own chickens.
Apparently, if you don't have a garden, you can keep them in a window box. Grin

That sounds like the home-grown equivalent of keeping battery hens, though without the ridiculous amounts of food supplements...

How about chickens in hanging baskets?
I'm thinking that if the basket is microwave safe and you plant spuds and salad....

Is that like chicken-in-a-basket, as was very popular in pubs in the seventies?

Yes I have to 'fess up to that one. 'Twas Rob and I dicking about with the forum settings at this afternoon's band recording/editing session. We changed the rating system so that you can turn Sturgeon at 2000 posts rather than 4000 (which is where you become the fighting fish Wink).

Recording session??

I thought you had finished the recording. Or have you already started recording the difficult third album?

When I say 'recording session' what I really meant to say was 'kicking the living crap out of my shite computer - session'.

Rob helped.  Grin

When Catherine reached 2000 posts
The crowd all raised a cheering cry
The traffic parted left and right
To let that Sturgeon by
