Oooh leave the poor wench alone. That redundancy money is for 6 litre bottle of Tia Maria and a lifetime supply of spinning bow ties and a pair of false plastic boobs.

That's certainly what I would spend it on.

I recently bought some software for editing my photos, and today I discovered the following option in my preferences.

Priceless.

From the FAQ of the software

Quote
Q: Why am I seeing a picture of a cat with a pink tongue?

A: That's Bibble's unsupported image icon. It means that Bibble thinks it should be able to open the file, but is having trouble interpreting it because it's from an unsupported camera, or it has been edited by another application. The image is a picture of Bibble, the program's namesake. If you would prefer a more traditional icon, select the "I don't like cats" option from the browser preferences.

Jolly good. See you in Kingston around 12.30pm then?

As lovely as that would be, I will most likely be taking a break during an eight hour session of being shot at by my family.

Cheesy

Here's a thing.
Sit down and lift your right foot off the ground, begin to circle it from the ankle in a clockwise direction. Now with your right hand, draw a number 6 in the air and see what your foot does.
It should change direction and there is nothing you can do about it! Bonkers.

What made me smile? Holding my beautiful day old niece (I have a niece!!!) for the first time.

And then getting her handed back to me again by my sister with the greeting of 'Happy birthday, Sarah!'.

Happy Birthday Sarah?

My birthday is this wednesday, so she was an early birthday present for me.  3 of my 4 nephews were all born within 2 days of someone else's birthday/christmas, and we had all been joking that because Elise was due on the 14th of Jan, she would be the one baby that came early and would be born on my birthday, since everyone forgets mine because it's so close to Christmas.

And of course she's bright - she's related to me Cheesy
