Yes, although I understand Wilf has removed all the curtains because he does not have windows any more, so sleeping may not be easy.

Pub gigs that go on so long that you are knackered and have to leave before the headliner even gets in the building.

That is pretty annoying - what time did you leave and do you know what time they came on and what RobH said?

I'm blue cos if the game goes on too long tomorrow I will be picking up the boy from his DofE qualifier instead of watching the end.

It was at Riffs, and I got there relatively early to park. I left at about 10:15 and the second band had only played a few songs and would require a complete kit change before the headliners could play. I've never known Riffs to set up such a late finish, or have such a late start with three bands playing. Now I know the headliners are active however, I shall look out for them again, because before yesterday morning, I didn't even know they existed. The evening wasn't wasted, because I'm glad I saw the opening act and put them on the list for further viewing.

I don't even know where that is - is it Middlesborough in disguise?

OI. Guisborough is lovely. I went to college there and met all of my favourite people there. So shut it.

And it's Middlesbrough. They call it Boro, but it's not.

I can't see anything to recommend Guisborough. It's a sort of down-at-hell version of Bilston.

There's a lovely big hill to walk up, there's the ruins of the old abbey, the local woodlands, a rather good college that has produced people of outstanding quality  Tongue  and several rather good pubs (one of which has an amazing jukebox).
